Indiblogger Meet Kolkata 2015
Kolkata Bloggers itching ultimately relieved after the 12th September evening when we all shouted or murmured “ich will” with Anoop. It was really after a long time when Indiblogger arranged a meet in Kolkata (hope you guys have experienced the joy). I could not remember if Anoop disclosed the meaning of this German phrase but really a “want” of such a meet in Kolkata was accumulating as grumble within us and finally Indiblogger Team has successfully made the day in association with Berger Paints India.
Ohh!! The Oberoi Grand roof on our head in that evening was one of the best things as a shelter of almost 5 hours of interactive and entertaining session with beloved bloggers.
On August 28th when I received a mail like others about the announcement of Indiblogger Meet Kolkata, the feeling was like anything else. Since past few years of my blogging journey, I always aspired to be present at any Indiblogger Meet, but the situation was not that smooth to join the gang in a different city. So obviously like many bloggers from Kolkata, a goose bump was felt for a moment and waiting initiated…
I missed the mail before the event day, from Indiblogger, where they geared up the excitement with an announcement of Photo Tweet contest, anyhow my excitement was more into attending the meet. I was comparatively free on that day and the 4 O’clock was just the right time for many of us.
Stairs to bloggers den/heaven
A den or heaven, I choose the later one to describe the first-floor Ballroom of The Oberoi Grand, Kolkata in that evening for the bloggers. Outstanding gathering of various blogger friends that also not only from Kolkata but from various cities of India had really helped to create a diverse connection.
Am I going dull! Let’s add the color
Are you feeling this post colorless till now? I don’t think so, but still let me add the pinch with BergerXP, who was the host and dost of the evening with their groundbreaking home painting tools. Cleaner, Faster & Better what describe the new painting technology of Berger. It is very common for us to lead a hassle-full period during painting of our apartment and house, but now with Berger don’t make it habit as the hassle-free painting technology has been brought to you by Berger and a blogger like me is really appreciating it for its paint-astic features.
Crowd Crowd … show me, crowd !!!
Ohh !! Am I being too megalomaniac? I was not alone there, as I mentioned the crowd earlier, you remember? I should mention some name with whom I got the chance to introduce myself for the very first time. Along with previously known Rangan Da, Poorna Di, Mahua Di, Dolon Di, Anamitra, Anindya Da, Upamanya & Preeti di, I have bagged friends like Indrajit, Nivedita, Antara, Abhinav, Milind, Arunima, Subhadip & Sumit. Hope to see you guys soon again.
We were not gathered to be dull boys/girls like Jack &…
So we played, courtesy goes to Berger who allowed us to make our hand dirty with Sand Paper rubbing on a demo wall and drawing and coloring a canvas with our thoughts and our team Octopus formed since then. Though we overdid with the sanding task but wonderful flow of colors from Nivedita, Arunima, Antara & Abhinav made our canvas gorgeous like “Katrina” 😛
Oh ! Let me rewind
Did they say that “you can try a creative tweet?”. Ya ya, I heard that right. While Berger was showing their demo video about modern painting tools, my creative juice was secreting secretly. My years long tweeter account that I hardly used in past 6 months brought me the gift of that evening. Here it is.
Oh ! I am not so materialistic! Friends first
So I would like to congratulate Kolkata Pallets team who won the sanding and painting competition and also others who has won various gifts in that evening and the friends who accompanied.
After all this food for thought sessions, food for filling tummy was being necessary and it was ready “Garmagaram”. So all senses were fulfilled at the end of the day and all credit goes to Indiblogger and BegerXP for considering our City and our pens.
And as you know like everyone, “ich will” more and more & more visit of Indiblogger in our city, we may not be “Aamir” but like “Atithi Deva bhawa” we respect “Indiblogger” like anything. Signing out with the winning shot of the day. See you again.
